Kink-Identification Clinicians Meeting

Registration

  • For students enrolled in a mental health or healthcare graduate program.
  • For professionals with license to practice therapy, counseling or healthcare.
  • for professionals who are eligible to apply for licensure to practice but who currently don't have an active license

Registration is closed

This meeting is restricted to kink-identified clinicians, holding a license to practice therapy and counseling.  Graduate students enrolled in Counseling or Clinical Psychology programs, or related mental health programs or healthcare professions, are also welcome.  Post-docs or faculty who are license-eligible are also welcome. 


Registrants will need to provide their license number or their student/faculty/staff ID upon arrival.


CE Policy and Procedures


Approval by Professional Organizations for CARAS to offer Continuing Education:

CARAS strives to maintain approvals to offer CE from professional sponsor-approval organizations.  In order to do so, in all CE sessions (as noted in the program) participants must sign in and sign out, complete a participant’s satisfaction form, and complete an assessment of learning to earn a CE attendance document.  CARAS does not condone, recommend or support any products mentioned in any CE sessions.  CARAS maintains responsibility for the program and its content.


Illinois LCPC, LCSW, LPC Relicensure:

Workshop meets the qualifications for 1 hour of continuing education credit.  CE credit will be administered by the Center on Halsted.


California MFT, LPCC and LCSW Relicensure:

Workshop meets the qualifications for 1 hour of continuing education credit for MFTs and/or LCSWs as required by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences.

CARAS’s PCE # is 4789.


Psychologists:

CARAS is approved by the American Psychological Association to sponsor continuing education for psychologists.  CARAS maintains responsibility for this program and its content.


The Conference Schedule and Instructor credentials, including relevant professional degree and discipline,

current professional position, and expertise in program content will be provided on the CARAS website or by email request by May 15, 2015.


Refund/cancellations

You may cancel up to 14 days (May 9, 2015) for a full refund, to be sent by check to you by June 30, 2015.
You may cancel up to 7 days (May 16, 2015) before a scheduled conference/workshop without penalty and receive a credit for a future conference/workshop. If you cancel less than 7 days before, you will be responsible for payment. CARAS reserves the right to cancel any event that is less than 60% full within 4 business days of the class. If CARAS cancels an educational event, you will receive a credit toward another conference/workshop.
